(Min YN is walking down the crowded street when she spots a group of older boys picking on some small kids. Her eyes narrow as she strides over.)
Min YN: firmly "Hey, knock it off! Why don’t you go find something better to do?"
Bully 1: grinning "Who are you to tell us what to do? Mind your own business, girl."
Min YN: "These kids aren’t your punching bags. Back off, now."
(The boys exchange glances before one of them, annoyed, shoves her hard. Min YN stumbles but quickly regains her balance. Anger flares in her eyes as she raises her hand to retaliate.)
Min YN: voice cold "You’ve messed with the wrong person—"
(Before she can strike, someone grabs her wrist mid-air. She turns to find Jungkook holding her hand tightly, his expression stern.)
Jungkook: "Hey, what do you think you're doing?! You don’t just hit people!"
Min YN: glaring at him "Let go of my hand. You don’t know what’s going on."
Jungkook: not backing down "What I saw was you trying to slap someone weaker than you. That's not okay."
Min YN: furious, yanking her wrist free "Seriously? You're siding with these bullies? I was protecting the kids!"
Jungkook: scoffs, not convinced "Nice try. I saw the way you were about to hit him."
Min YN: clenching her fists, voice filled with anger "You’re blind if you can’t tell who the real bullies are."
(Without waiting for his response, she turns on her heel and storms off, leaving Jungkook bewildered. The small kids quickly gather around him, trying to explain.)
Kid 1: timidly "Mister, you got it wrong... that girl was helping us."
Kid 2: nodding "She was protecting us from those older boys!"
(Realization hits Jungkook like a punch to the gut. He stares after Min YN, now feeling a pang of guilt.)
Jungkook: muttering to himself, frustrated "Damn it... I was so quick to judge."
(He turns back to the older boys with a deadly glare.)
Jungkook: "If I catch you messing with these kids again, you’re going to regret it. Got it?"
Bully 1: nervously "Y-yes, we won’t do it again!"
(After dealing with the bullies, Jungkook buys the kids some treats to make up for the scene, but inside, he’s still seething with regret. He watches the street, hoping for a glimpse of the fiery girl he misunderstood, but she’s long gone.)
Jungkook: to himself, sighing "How do I make it right when I don't even know her name?"
(Meanwhile, Min YN storms down a side street, fists clenched and eyes blazing with anger. She mutters to herself, her thoughts racing.)
Min YN: "Unbelievable! That arrogant jerk—doesn't even bother to find out what’s actually happening!"
(She kicks a loose stone on the road, her frustration boiling over.)
Min YN: "Jeon Jungkook, huh? The so-called ‘good guy’ everyone worships. I thought he'd be different, but no... He just assumes I'm the bad one without even trying to understand."
(She exhales sharply, trying to calm herself down, but the anger still simmers beneath the surface.)
Min YN: sarcastically "Should’ve used my real identity and put him in his place... but no, I had to give him the benefit of the doubt because he’s supposed to be a ‘nice guy.’"
(She pauses, gritting her teeth as she remembers the way Jungkook looked at her with contempt.)
Min YN: "I was just trying to protect those kids, and that idiot dares to lecture me? I swear, if I ever see his face again..."
(She stops herself, letting out a frustrated sigh, shaking her head.)
Min YN: "No. Forget it. I hope I never run into that self-righteous celebrity again for as long as I live."
(Despite her harsh words, there's a flicker of something deeper in her eyes, but she quickly shakes it off and heads back to her car, determined to forget the whole encounter.)
(Min YN sits in her car, the engine off, her thoughts swirling as she stares out the windshield.)
Min YN: thinking, frustrated "I thought he was different... I remember watching that video of him doing charity work. He seemed so genuine, so kind. But today? Today, he was just another judgmental fool."
(She grips the steering wheel, knuckles tight, as the memory of Jungkook’s harsh words replays in her mind.)
Min YN: "I gave him the benefit of the doubt because I thought he was one of the good ones... Guess I was wrong."
(She exhales a shaky breath, trying to push away the anger that still lingers.)
Min YN: "But why does it still sting? Was it because I expected better from him? Or was I just foolish for believing in someone I saw through a screen?"
(As she starts the car, a lingering question echoes in her mind, one she can't shake off no matter how hard she tries.)
Min YN: "Was I wrong to trust my instincts... or is there more to him than what I saw today?"
(The questions hang heavy in the air for both of them, with no clear answers in sight. Will fate give them a chance at redemption, or will they remain strangers who never got to understand each other?)
